In this role, you'll manage the daily operations of HR, ensure compliance with DCFS licensing standards, and help build a positive, mission-driven workplace culture.
What You'll Do
- Partner with leadership to implement strategic HR initiatives
- Oversee HR operations including benefits, compliance, and employee relations
- Maintain HR policy manuals and ensure compliance with DCFS regulations
- Serve as a key advisor for employee relations and conflict resolution
- Administer compensation and benefits programs
- Supervise the Human Resources Assistant and contribute to departmental goals
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- Proven experience across multiple HR functions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance standards
- Prior supervisory experience and a collaborative leadership style
- High integrity and professionalism in handling confidential matters
- Daily collaboration with department leaders and employees
- Regular contact with DCFS representatives and job applicants
- Close partnership with the Executive Director and Chief Human Resources Officer
