What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager position at Mooyah?
The Manager works side by side with the General Manager to lead the overall operations of the restaurant on a daily basis. Specifically, this role is a leader and critical component in ensuring success in the following areas:
- Financial stewardship management through food cost, labor cost and repairs & maintenance
- Back of House and Guest Experience operations
- Leadership and people development
General Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth mentality and foster an environment of exceptional service and hospitality.
- Provide appropriate and effective training for all team members.
- Execute all operational systems daily to ensure a clean, organized restaurant, prepared to deliver quality food and service.
- Maintain high standards of service throughout the operational day by demonstrating leadership by example.
- Perform coaching and discipline for actions that do not meet Mooyah’s standards and execute disciplinary documentation for all team members who fail to meet expectations.
- Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards.
- Assist in the interviewing and hiring process for new team members.
- Ensure all team members are knowledgeable of the policies and procedures by constantly asking questions, testing and monitoring their performance and giving timely feedback
