Scheduler
Moquin Press, an established Print, Packaging and Label manufacturer is seeking a scheduling planner. This is a fulltime position with benefits located at our facility in Belmont California.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Scheduler to manage the production schedules for our packaging operations. The ideal candidate will ensure that all manufacturing processes are efficiently coordinated, deadlines are met, and resources are utilized effectively. As a Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our production flow and ensuring timely delivery to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules to meet customer orders and company goals.
- Coordinate with the production, procurement, and shipping teams to ensure materials and resources are available for production.
- Monitor production progress and make adjustments to the schedule as needed to address delays, issues, or changes in demand.
- Communicate with sales and customer service teams to provide updates on order status and delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with the operations team to identify and implement process improvements for better scheduling and resource allocation.
- Maintain accurate records of production schedules, inventory levels, and work orders.
- Assist in forecasting production needs based on sales trends and customer demand.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Scheduler or in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing or packaging industry.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to positively influence your team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the packaging or cardboard manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or other process improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.

Schedule Demands
- General schedule is an M-F assignment. Employee must be willing to work alternate schedules occasionally; that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so.
Physical Demands
- Sitting or standing for extended periods up to 8 -hours.
- Occasional Lifting up to 20 lbs.
- Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.
- Use of various office equipment.
Salary:
- $85,000 (Based on Experience)
