Quality Inspector- 2nd Shift

Quality Inspector- 2^nd Shift:

Moquin Press, an established Print, Packaging and Label manufacturer is seeking a Quality Inspector for their 2^nd shift. This is a fulltime position with benefits located at our facility in Belmont California.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Quality Inspector to oversee production quality across all divisions. The ideal candidate will ensure that all manufactured goods are produced within Moquin Press Quality  standards. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our production quality and ensuring a quality product to our customers.

Pay Range: US$ 23 to 26.5

Position responsibilities include:

• Follow established QA best practices and methodologies
• Ability and flexibility to work across teams and levels in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility and willingness to learn new concept, processes, and product information.
• Attention to detail
• Conduct quality inspections at the shop and in the field.
• Reviews all data obtained during quality activities to ensure consistency with company policies and procedures and effective dissemination of information to assigned field

      •     Maintains a working knowledge of industry quality codes and standards

• Investigates and addresses customer complaints regarding quality
• Formulates and maintains quality, complementary to corporate policies and goals

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in quality assurance
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing or production line.
• PC skills including email, MS Office, and excel
• Professionalism and a positive attitude.

Schedule Demands

• General schedule is onsite M-F assignment. Employee must be willing to work alternate schedules occasionally; that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so.

Physical Demands:

·        While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and frequently is required to walk for extended periods up to 8 hours

• Requires frequent kneeling, bending and considerable use of hands and tools.
• Employee works on their feet and must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.
• Use of various mechanical equipment.
