Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Drywaller to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drywall installation and finishing, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves working on various residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Duties
- Install drywall panels on walls and ceilings, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening.
- Tape, mud, and finish drywall seams to create a smooth surface ready for painting or other finishes.
- Measure and cut drywall to fit specific dimensions and layouts.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Perform additional tasks related to masonry, flooring installation, construction painting, maintenance person services, frame carpentry, stucco application, trim carpentry, and metal stud framing as needed.
- be able to mentor and lead the team
Skills
- Proficiency in drywall installation techniques and finishing methods.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading for accurate project execution.
- Experience in masonry, flooring installation, construction painting, maintenance person services, frame carpentry, stucco application, trim carpentry, and metal stud framing is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and clients.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks associated with drywall installation.

Pay: $20.08 - $29.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- On call
