Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in frame carpentry and be proficient in various construction techniques. As a Framer, you will play a crucial role in the construction of residential and commercial structures, ensuring that all framing work is completed accurately and efficiently. Your expertise in reading blueprints and working with hand and power tools will be essential to the success of our projects.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications.
• Perform heavy lifting as required for framing tasks.
• Install drywall, stucco, and concrete forming as part of the framing process.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Restore existing structures by repairing or replacing damaged materials.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Be able to mentor others on the team to help our team grow.

Experience

• Proven experience in frame carpentry or related fields is preferred.
• Familiarity with stucco installation, drywall hanging, and concrete forming is a plus.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools safely on job sites.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with construction work.
• A commitment to safety standards and practices on the job site.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.95 - $28.09 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Frame carpentry: 5 years (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Upland, CA 91786 (Required)
