Duties

- Assist with pain management strategies, including acute pain management techniques.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation using electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, medical terminology, and post-treatment care.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition to the supervising nurse or physician.
Skills
- Proficient in medical documentation practices and understanding of ICD-10 coding.
- Knowledge of sonography principles is a plus for specific patient assessments.
- Strong grasp of medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare teams and patients.
- Familiarity with infection control measures to ensure patient safety.
- Ability to accurately assess vital signs and recognize abnormal findings.
- Experience in pain management techniques, particularly in outpatient settings.
