What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Biology Instructor position at Moraine Valley Community College?
Duties
Teach one or two college Biology courses in general Biology (majors and non-majors), Microbiology, or Anatomy & Physiology disciplines. Prepare lecture and lesson plans according to departmental syllabus and learning objectives, teach lecture and lab portion of class in-person, grade student work, and observe chemical and other lab safety protocols.
Education / Experience Master’s degree in Biological Sciences or Master’s degree in related field with 18 graduate hours in Biological Sciences or Biological Sciences subdisciplines. Qualifications Experience teaching at the community college or college level preferred (not required).
