Duties
Support the goals and mission of the college; provide quality instruction to students; and communicate with your department chair or administrator. The responsibilities of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography instructor are to provide hands-on and classroom instruction in the use of clinical sonographic equipment. Education / Experience Bachelor’s Degree in content area required. Appropriate certification through American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) and / or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (S) required. Must possess minimum of 2000 professional work hours in the field. Qualifications This position requires a strong commitment to teaching and diversity while incorporating technology and innovation in the delivery of instruction for student success. The ability to infuse new approaches into the teaching / learning process is essential. Candidates must be able to work actively and collegially with faculty within and outside of the department.
