What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Technology Instructor position at Moraine Valley Community College?
Main Campus
Duties:Teach a variety of discipline courses at the community college level including industrial/electronics/electromechanical technology, mechanical design, engineering technology, robotics, and CAD.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare, instruct, and evaluate courses in one or more of the mentioned areas, both in lecture and laboratory environments.
- Apply innovative teaching pedagogies and demonstrate ability to work with students at all skill levels.
- Associates degree in an Engineering or Engineering Technology-related field. A Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of one year (2000 hours) of professional experience in an Engineering or Engineering Technology field.
- Post-secondary teaching experience.
- FANUC Certification is preferred.
- A working knowledge of electromechanical systems, electronic and programmable controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and manufacturing processes.
