What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Aid Assistant - Part-time position at Moraine Valley Community College?
Under supervision of the Financial Aid Coordinator, the Financial Aid Assistant is responsible for the intake of student inquiries relating to all aspects of financial aid, which includes, but is not limited to, federal and state grants, student loans, veteran benefits, scholarships, work-study, and third-party billing. This includes referencing to various reports, assisting the Financial Aid Expeditors with servicing students and ensuring that paperwork is complete, answering calls and taking messages for the department and providing clerical support for the Director and Coordinator as needed. The Financial Aid Assistant is dedicated to the learning college concepts by developing programs and facilitating activities that promote student success and lifelong learning.
