Morais Vineyards is seeking a Closing Venue Manager. The Closing Venue Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of venue operations during closing hours. This role ensures that events conclude smoothly, the facility is secured, and all end-of-day procedures are properly executed. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle unforeseen challenges during events.
Description: Part-time hourly position. Weekend evenings only.
Requirements: Must be available weekends to coordinate and close up event and event venue. This job requires excellent communication skills. Must be organized and able to multi-task. Professional appearance, attitude and enthusiasm. Must be able to handle stressful situations gracefully and remain calm under pressure.
Duties
- Event Oversight: Supervise and manage events during evening hours, ensuring they run efficiently and conclude as scheduled. Be in consistent contact with the wedding planner/coordinator, and event captain throughout event to ensure all policies and protocols are being followed. Must be able to clearly respond to and resolve any venue related issues during an event
- Facility Management: Ensure the venue is properly maintained during events, including cleanliness and functionality of all areas.
- Closing Procedures: Conduct thorough walkthroughs post-event to assess for damages, ensure all equipment is stored properly, and secure the facility.
- Other Responsibilities Include: Assisting with venues electrical & water/plumbing needs during events. Maintaining cleanliness & stocking of bathroom facilities. Assist in managing any unruly or intoxicated guests (alongside bar manager & catering captain). Maintain inventory of venue provided equipment/furniture for events. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
