Global Diving & Salvage, Inc. is currently seeking a Facility and Asset Supervisor for our Sacramento , CA location.
Position Description
The Facility and Asset Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the regions inventory and fixed assets, ensuring proper documentation, reporting, repair, and preventative maintenance. This role also provides administrative and logistical support for projects within the California region, supporting operations with smooth mobilization and demobilization of equipment, and supplies.
Position Essential Job Functions
- Coordinate and manage equipment suppliers, vendors, and contractors for repairs, cleaning, and special projects.
- Monitor and audit asset tracking systems to generate asset tracking numbers for inventory control.
- Maintain physical and digital archives of equipment files, including work orders, purchase receipts, repair records, certifications, photographs, and other pertinent information.
- Work with asset manager to enforce procedures for asset lifecycle management, including repairs, replacements, and disposals.
- Work with asset manager ensuring efficient asset utilization and recommend improvements to reduce operational costs and downtime.
- Operate and maintain the Preventative Maintenance System (PMS) and Microsoft Excel Jet Report for regional facilities. Track PMS-generated work orders to ensure compliance with ADCI.
- Coordinate with outside businesses to oversee any equipment repairs or upkeep that cannot be handled in-house.
- Maintain a stock of spare parts and ensure tools and equipment are ready for use.
- Conduct inspections to identify wear and tear or potential malfunctions and coordinate emergency repairs.
- Select and broker third-party shipments (via ground, air, or water transportation).
- Assemble and prepare equipment for shipping, ensuring compliance with certification requirements. Set up, manage, and close out work orders for equipment shipments and installations using NAV.
- Act as the purchasing agent to assist with field operations as needed.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment while coordinating and delegating tasks ensuring they are completed efficiently.
- Manage comprehensive facilities maintenance, ensuring regular inspection and servicing of building systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting daily operations
- Other duties as assigned

High School diploma required; AA degree preferred.
