What are the responsibilities and job description for the Meat Cut and Wrap Team Member position at Moravia Meat Locker?
Job Summary
We are seeking a both a meat cutter and a meat wrapper to join our team Monday-Friday and rotating Saturdays with other employees. Meat wrappers will simply wrap meat in paper/plastic and label. Meat cutters will trim away fat and debone the meat. Must be able to lift over 50 lbs, stand for long periods of time, and must be able to show up to work on time each week.
Responsibilities
- Cut, trim, and prepare meat products according to specifications and customer requests.
- Ensure all meat is handled safely and stored appropriately to maintain freshness and quality.
- Must be comfortable working a knife.
- Package meat products for display or sale, ensuring proper labeling and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations within the cutting/wrapping area.
Experience
- Experience would be nice but not mandatory as we will train you.
