What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Runner position at Mordecai?
Mordecai is currently hiring food runners (hourly tips). Prospective candidates need a strong focus on hospitality, teamwork, and be able to perform well in high-volume settings. Food runners will be cross-trained at the host stand and be expected to work some host shifts as well ($16.50/hour). Must have daytime and nighttime availability. Must have availability over holidays and Cubs home stands. This is a seasonal position with the potential for growth.
Mordecai is an upscale bi-level cocktail bar and restaurant across the street from Wrigley Field. Our service style is warm, approachable, and educational. Looking for professional and detail oriented individuals with a strong service standard background and ability to work in a high volume environment. Team focused personalities coupled with humility and a desire to learn are valued.
