Responsibilities-
- Detailed invoicing for walk-in customers at counter and over the phone
- Interpret parts diagrams and drawings for all product lines
- Communicate with vendors
- Customer service / retail sales
- Answer phones with proper etiquette
- Inventory maintenance and management
- Daily closing duties / housekeeping
- Daily parts orders - ordering online/via phone from our vendors
- Daily parts orders - receiving shipments from UPS/Fedex/Freight Trucks and unpack boxes, fill orders, contact customers, full ordering process start to finish
- Work in the warehouse to take inventory, ship orders out, unload shipments, etc.
- Maintain an organized work environment both at front desk and in parts areas and shop/warehouse. Break down and take out boxes, organize special orders, etc.
- Lift boxes and inventory up to or exceeding 50 pounds on daily basis
- Ability to bend, stoop and lift, ability to go up and down stairs on daily basis
- Job requires a balance of physical work in the warehouse as well as desk work in the showroom. Candidate will be flexible to maintain physical and clerical duties in multiple different work environments (shop and front desk).
- Special order parts for commercial and residential customers, parts for the shop, parts for new sales, overall ordering parts in timely manner to ensure proper care for our customer and other depts.
- Follow up on customer orders, maintain back order status, return parts on time
- Follow all policies and procedures for department and company
- Perform assigned tasks in accurate and timely manner with great attention to detail and organization - go above and beyond
- Team player, willing to learn, able to multitask and work well with others. We are looking for someone to be dependable, on time and here every day with a great attitude for serving others. This job can be demanding and will require candidate to be able to multi-task effectively in order to be successful
- Must work well with coworkers and learn to keep up with fast paced environment during busy season. Must be a friendly face to greet our customers
