Job Overview:
Established in 1913, More Farm Stores is a 4th generation family owned business based out of Columbia City, Indiana. We have five locations in Columbia City, Warsaw, Fort Wayne , Kokomo, Indiana and Ridgeville Corners, Ohio. We sell and service Kubota Outdoor Power, Ag, and Construction Equipment.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to join our Kokomo location. As a Sales Assistant, you will provide support to our sales team and assist in achieving sales targets. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about sales and wants to develop their career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team in answering phone and internet leads
- Showroom cleanliness, and organization
-Upload sales to our customer data base, collect customer information for credit approval
-Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including customer interactions and sales transactions
- Prepare sales contracts
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
- Assist with account management activities, including maintaining customer databases and updating customer information
- Support the sales team in meeting sales targets and objectives
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in equipment sales or a related field is preferred, but not required
- Proficiency in Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to build rapport with customers and negotiate effectively
