What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Case Reviewer(LCSW/LPC, LCSW-S/LPC-R position at More Solutions Youth and Family Services?
LCSW, LPC or LMFT. Requires completion of a Master’s Degree in social work, Psychology, or other related human services field and two years of experience working in an out-patient or similar program for seriously emotionally disturbed individuals. This position also requires a good knowledge of Community Based Behavioral Health (CMHRS) principles and psychotherapeutic treatment techniques. This position requires excellent oral and written communication skills. A valid Virginia Driver’s License is also required for employment.
Typical duties of the Clinical Coordinator include:
- Provide case staffing and leadership to counselors and case managers.
- Prepares written diagnostic assessments
- Shadows counselors and case managers.
- Make recommendations, and document session with counselor
- Assist with developing new programs
- Plan and provide continued wraparound training to employees
- Coordinate the development of Individual Service Plans, objectives and methods necessary for providing effective services to clients
- Coordinate efforts with program management and help maintain and grow professional relationships with appropriate community and school officials.
- Conduct clinical assessments
- Prepares Services Authorization Request
- Develop Individualized Service Plan (ISP)
