SUMMARY
A high-energy, creative, hard-working person with the drive to set marketing and online strategy and execute tactics. The Marketing and Social Media Specialist will increase our brand awareness and consistency as well as manage all aspects of our social media and web strategies by leading, creating and delivering a well-thought-out plan.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES are outlined below. Other duties may be assigned, as necessary.
Essential Functions
Critical
- Enhance our brand, image and niche that attracts customers to our products; a brand that exemplifies our company’s mission and connects with the values of our customers
- Ability to create, develop and implement marketing and advertising plans and strategies including the use of social media, web presence, print and online advertising, trade show visibility and collateral
- Analyzing market trends and competitor tactics; communicating results and competitive strategies to leadership team
Important
- Establishing and overseeing the company’s marketing budget and return on spend
- Leading and implementing promotion and advertising efforts to drive sales and build brand awareness
- Overseeing social media accounts and web site and ensure brand consistency
- Planning and executing product pitches as a part of sales efforts to specific customers
- Managing all logistics regarding trade show presence
- Build relationships with social media influencers, journalists and media outlets
- Researching competitors and broader markets to stay current with competitive and innovation products in the market and analyzing volume trends
- Source, curate, create and publish engaging social media content through unique posts and blogs

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field valuable. Experience with marketing campaigns and web technologies. Experience with social media presence and brand management.
