MOREgroup is seeking applicants for a Marketing & Events Coordinator to join our team. This position will support the marketing department in a variety of marketing, business development and client relations tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Event / tradeshow coordination and execution including (but not limited to) event research, exhibit space acquisition, booth management, sponsorships / association fees, attendee registration, accommodations, and event collateral
- Develop and maintain industry vendor and organization relations
- Calendar management for marketing-related activities
- Database management for conferences, sponsorship, and client events
- Coordinate and track submission of purchase orders, check requests, purchase receipts, and other marketing-related expenses
- Coordinate scheduling, production, and delivery of marketing materials
- Mail campaigns / list management
- Support business development efforts as needed for marketing packets, sponsorship collateral and related print or digital materials.
- Interdepartmental and interoffice coordination of marketing materials, brand guidelines and other marketing-related activities / tasks
- Special projects and ad-hoc research
REQUIREMENTS:
- 1-2 years of experience as a professional in event planning
- Prior marketing experience in the A/E/C industry is a plus
- Intermediate level skills in MSOffice, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent customer service and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to remain positive and focused in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines; capable of overseeing multiple projects simultaneously
- Show initiative to make improvements to department/company processes
- Exercise high degree of integrity and a commitment to the work and the company
