Overview
We are seeking qualified lifeguards to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all pool patrons while providing exceptional guest services. This role requires a strong swimmer with the ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations. As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
Duties
- Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents.
- Perform regular pool maintenance, including cleaning and chemical balancing.
- Provide first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations.
- Assist guests with inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Conduct routine inspections of pool facilities and equipment.
- Respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies, documenting actions taken.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current with lifeguard practices.
Qualifications
- Current certification in CPR and First Aid is required.
- Lifeguard certification is preferred; training may be provided for qualified candidates.
- Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescues if necessary.
- Experience in pool maintenance and cleaning is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor for guest interactions.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for equipment handling or emergencies.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
