The Department of Biology & Chemistry Department at Morehead State University is accepting applications for two full-time Tenure Track Assistant Professor Biomedical Science positions. The anticipated start date for both positions is August 11, 2025.

RESPONSIBILITIES : The Department of Biology & Chemistry seeks two highly trained biomedical scientists with expertise in cellular and molecular biology that possess the ability to conduct research complementary to existing faculty. The candidates will teach courses within their area of expertise and majors / nonmajors introductory biology. The positions require the successful candidates to obtain external funding for a robust research program working with undergraduate and M.S. biology students. A Ph.D. in a discipline of cellular and molecular biology or a closely related field is required. The applicant must have broad undergraduate and graduate Biology training; post-doctoral and / or professional experience preferred.
REQUIREMENTS : Terminal degree from an accredited institution in the individual's discipline as recognized by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : Teaching experience in a higher education environment.
