The department of Health, Kinesiology, Imaging & Psychological Sciences at Morehead State University is accepting applications for a full-time position as a full-time, non-tenure track Instructor, Imaging Sciences/Program Specialist. The anticipated start date is August 11, 2025.
Morehead State University is located in Morehead, KY, a designated Kentucky Trail Town, nestled in the Daniel Boone National Forest, in close proximity to Cave Run Lake. This location provides opportunities for a wide range of outdoor recreation activities. RESPONSIBILITIES: The Instructor/Program Specialist maintains all onboarding for all imaging programs for clinical experiences, including Castlebranch, Bridges, MyClinical Exchange, Trajecsys, Landauer, and other platforms for student compliance, as well as onboarding of new clinical agencies for the programs. This position serves as a liaison between students, program, clinical affiliate, and above-mentioned platforms of clinical preparation. In addition, this position will require up to 9 hours of instruction for imaging science programs. Clinical travel is an expectation of this position, along with recruitment activities, admissions, and other departmental duties as assigned. The Instructor/Program Specialist may proctor exams and quizzes or provide tutorial assistance to students as needed. In addition, the Instructor/Program Specialist collaborates with other departmental faculty/staff to provide other student services. The Instructor/Program Specialist participates in department, college, and university activities.
REQUIREMENTS: Baccalaureate degree is required. This individual must be eligible for current licensure to practice as a registered radiographer in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Must have experience in the clinical setting using general radiography skills with a minimum of two (2) years within the immediate past five (5) years. Possess effective communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in imaging equipment operation, advanced imaging clinical experience, teaching experience, and possess an advanced imaging certification(s).

The Imaging Sciences Program Specialist/Instructor reports to the Imaging Coordinator and Department Chair. This position interacts with faculty, staff, and students.

Able to commute to campus/clinical setting.
Working Conditions
The environment may be busy at times with students and faculty are interacting. This position is a 10 month contract. Ten month contract is required to support summer course offerings.
