What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraprofessional - Title I position at Morehouse Parish School District?
QUALIFICATIONS :
Must be highly qualified as set forth by NCLB Section 1119.
Eligibility Checklist :
1) Passed the Para-Pro Assessment with a passing score of 450 or better, OR
2) Completed two years of full time study (48 semester credit hours) from a state
approved or regionally accredited institution of higher learning, OR
3) Earned an Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, or Associate of Appied Science Degree
from a state-approved or regionally accredited institution of higher learning.
If the applicant has college credits, he / she should have the following :
- 3 hrs. of English Composition
- 6 hrs. of English / Reading
- 6 hrs. of Mathematics
