What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Outreach Coordinator position at Morehouse School Of Medicine?
The Program Coordinator provides administrative assistance to team to support the accomplishment of program objectives; develops, coordinates, and advises staff regarding program policy. Funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Network for Community-Engaged Primary Care Research (NCPCR) overarching goal will be to narrow the health inequities widened among disproportionately impacted populations served by the primary care safety net across the southeastern United States (US) and nationally.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- Associate’s Degree from a regionally accredited college or university
Experience:
- Minimum of one (1) years of experience assisting with program coordination.
- Expertise in substance use disorders
- Understanding of education, training, and professional development
- Ability to work effectively with diverse cultural and educational backgrounds
- Participatory management strong organizational and planning style
- Program development experience
- Experience in leading extensive regional activities
Preferred Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in education, public health or social services.

Job Duties
Description of Job Duty
- Provide lead on community engagement, programming and resource development
- Serve as liaison between SE ATTC and community partners
- Chair for Community Accountability Board
- Determine, develop, and cultivate constituent relations
- Support community data collection efforts
- Lead on community learning communities and other training activities

It is MSM’s Immunization policy that all Prospective Employees are required to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment.
