Position Summary:
Position Summary:
The program manager will work directly with the Principal Investigator to oversee the day-to-day operations of the program. The candidate will serve as the administrative point of contact and will facilitate nearly all of the activities of the project by working collaboratively with the internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include maintaining the integrity and performance of the PALS databases and guaranteeing that data are stored securely and optimally.
In addition to the duties listed above the PALS,MAPS, GROW HRSA Grant Program Manager:
Project Management
Project Management
- Serve as project manager for all grant activities to ensure tasks are completed on-time.
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress in SmartSheet.
- Create and manage all project data using REDCap.
- Ensure project resource availability and allocation.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed.
- Manage project performance to identify areas of improvement.
- Prepare and monitor all aspects of the project budget.
- Prepare annual data and reports.
- Maintain statistics and data for institutional and specialty bodies.
- Support the annual program evaluation and review processes.
- Complete annual specialty-related reporting/documentation.
- Generate purchase and order lists and purchase supplies from local vendors. as needed to fulfill department needs.
- Maintains and manages program calendars, receive and respond to visitors. and calls, prepare correspondence, and otherwise assist with administrative and business tasks.
- Oversees and insures arrangement and coordination of travel.
- Coordinates and arranges meetings, prepare agendas, reserve and prepare facilities, and record and transcribe meeting minutes.
Site Recruiter
- Serve as primary recruiter for project partners and participants.
- Travel across the state to recruit, train, and maintain preceptors.
- Act as liaison and manages communication between internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and update recruitment letters and brochures.
Site Trainer
- Design and implement training program for students and preceptors.
- Manage training modules for students and preceptors.
- Monitor participant progress across the modules.
- Validate appropriateness and efficiency of participant training and modules.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum Education: Associate’s Degree required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Experience: 2-4 year related experience is required.

- Must possess the ability to function independently and know when to escalate issues to achieve and maintain high levels of successful project completion Must demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent decision-making skills.
- Must be detailed oriented.
- Must demonstrate the ability to interact professionally and courteously with faculty, staff, students, and affiliates.
- Basic office skills including use of word processing, spreadsheet, and similar skills.
- Ability to travel (required)
