The Program Manager will manage and implement the day-to-day tasks for the Prevention Research Center (PRC). Under the leadership of the Associate Director towards, the program manager ensures all deliverables of the initiative are achieved, providing daily oversight of full program implementation for annual and period goals and objectives of the community action plan, as well as the strategies outlined in the communications plan to achieve immediate, intermediate and long-term outcomes.

- Responsible for assisting in the planning, administering, reviewing and evaluating all activities of the PRC in collaboration and in cooperation with the Associate Director with core leads, to include academic, agency and community partners and staff.
- Participates in writing, developing and implementation of communications plans and proposals.
- Manages and supports community-based participatory activities affiliated with the grant to include data collection, evaluation and community outreach.
- Assist with the designs and implementation of project marketing, communications, and outreach activities.
- Objectively advises Associate Director on system, and administrative weaknesses, challenges, strengths and priorities through biweekly meetings and monthly reports.
- Assists with oversight of PRC Center key operational functions including enforcement and amendments to standard operation procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of related experience in public health promotion, program management or other related discipline.

- Manages and supports community-based participatory activities affiliated with the PRC grant to include data collection, evaluation and community outreach.
- Implements, monitors, and assess new or existing programs which include identifying risks and opportunities for improvement and developing contingency strategies/plans.
- Assists with the designs and implementation of project marketing, communications, and outreach activities.
- Objectively advises Associate Director on system, and administrative weaknesses, challenges, strengths and priorities through biweekly meetings and monthly reports.
- Assists with oversight of PRC Center key operational functions including enforcement and amendments to standard operation procedures and tracking key Center performance indicators as outlined in its action plans.
