Responsibilities:
- Utilize clinical and technical knowledge to obtain high quality sonographic images
- Create detailed patient worksheets that will provide the physician with the diagnostic information necessary for accurate interpretations
- Promote a smooth flow of patients through the department and helps to create a calm and supportive atmosphere
- Perform tasks as required, paying attention to detail and accuracy
- Conduct all interactions with patients and personnel in a courteous, respectful manner while maintaining confidentiality
Education/Licensure/Certifications:
- Registered Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in OB/GYN
- Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of an accredited or approved program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- OB/GYN experience preferred
