Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Associate Attorney to join our immigration practice. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow your legal career in a supportive environment that values work-life balance and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and filing family-based immigration petitions, including, family-based petitions, adjustment of status, consular processing, and waivers.
- Represent clients at USCIS interviews and immigration court hearings.
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information, provide updates, and address their concerns.
- Represent clients in cases involving removal defense, asylum, cancellation of removal, VAWA, U visas, T visas, and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS).
- Provide representation for detained and non-detained clients in immigration proceedings.
- Prepare clients for their master and individual hearings.
- Review bond packages and represent clients before the immigration court in their bond hearings.
- Stay informed about changes in immigration laws, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
- Participate in community events, know your rights.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and in good standing (1 years of legal experience required).
- Strong interest in family immigration law; prior experience or coursework in immigration law is a plus.
- Proven courtroom experience particularity representing asylum seekers.
- Experience with removal defense, asylum, VAWA, U visas, and T visas.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and oral communication skills.
- Bilingual Spanish required; knowledge of an additional language is a plus.
- Comfortable and familiar with the use and operation of legal technology.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Admission to the First Circuit is a plus.

Salary: $67,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
