Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales (construction or roofing background is highly preferred), with a proven track record of success in lead generation, door to door sales, and business development.
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for training and retaining sales associates, developing strategic sales plans, analyzing market trends, and fostering relationships with clients to achieve sales targets.
EXPECTATIONS (What you'll do):
- Train and Retain Sales Talent to perform roof inspections and create estimates and close deals.
- As a Sales Manager, you will train sales associates to work closely with insurance adjusters to ensure homeowners receive claim approvals.
- Your primary focus will be developing a high-performing sales team. Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team to meet and exceed sales targets
- Conduct regular ride-alongs with sales representatives to observe, coach, and refine their techniques for maximum effectiveness.
- Facilitate daily/weekly team and 1:1 meetings focused on performance reviews, training, and sharing best practices.
- Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous learning.
- Recruit, onboard, and train new sales representatives to ensure they are equipped for success.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market share and drive revenue growth.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team goals.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and trends within the roofing industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients through regular communication and follow-ups.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to improve sales training and goals.

Experience
- Proven experience in sales management or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs related to the roofing industry.
- Demonstrated success in lead generation, and outside sales activities.
- Proficiency in using CRM software for managing sales processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and close deals.
