Technical Compliance Officer
Your Mission :
As a Technical Compliance Officer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the Technical Department is efficient, responsive, and proactive. Your attention to detail and technical know-how will help maintain essential documentation, track compliance metrics, and support audits to uphold the highest food industry standards.
What You'll Do :
Maintain and organise key records, reports, and trackers (Barcode check sheets, supplier matrices, packaging libraries, and more).
Investigate and follow through on grower / pesticide approvals, complaints, product changes, traceability tests, and recalls.
Support internal audits to meet standards such as BRC, Red Tractor, and LEAF.
Oversee pest control visits and audits while keeping key portals and filing systems up to date.
Prepare monthly KPI reports, testing summaries, and quality assurance intake summaries.
Stay audit-ready for customer audits, plant passporting, SMETA / Sedex, and environmental policy compliance.
Champion health, safety, and environmental best practices.
What We're Looking For :
Must-Have :
- Methodical, detail-oriented, self-sufficient, and reliable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel (formulas, formatting, graphs) and general IT.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills at all levels.
- Previous experience in a food industry and / or technical compliance function.
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS).
