Night Auditor at Blue Palms Hotel (Overnight Shift):
Night Auditors work at the check-in desk or front office greeting and assisting guests during overnight hours. Duties may include making reservations and assigning rooms; registering arriving guests; processing payments; checking-out guests; answering phones; assisting guests with various hospitality-related needs; and updating room inventory on 3rd party websites. Associates will work in a team atmosphere coordinating issues and assisting Housekeeping, Maintenance and Management.
Wages:
- Hourly Wage: $18-20 depending on experience.
- Bonus: Night Auditors are eligible for a work performance-based bonus of up to $1.00 for every hour worked from Monday, April 24 through Sunday, October 8; must work a minimum of 200 hours in total. The associate must work until the date of commitment, agreed to at the interview.
Qualifications & Duties:
- High School education or equivalent.
- Prior experience working in a hotel environment strongly preferred.
- Possess general computer knowledge and training with property management systems.
- Must be a fluent English speaker.
- Must be an enthusiastic, professional, courteous, positive attitude with guests, outside vendors, and co-workers.
- Must remain awake during entire shift.
- Ability to listen actively and communicate clearly with confidence, maturity, and good judgment.
- Demonstrate initiative and work as a member of a team with Management, Front Desk, Housekeeping & Maintenance.
- Must be detail-oriented with paperwork and computer data entry.
- Able to handle the stress of multiple guests with a variety of needs.
- Timeliness is required as well as adherence to grooming standards.
- Availability to work weekends, especially during the summer season.
- Must be able to stand, stoop, or stretch for long periods of time.
