Responsibilities
We are seeking an Operator to join us at our site in Dunn, NC. You will set up and operate semi-automatic and manual machines, including machine shop and special purpose. Previous direct experience isn't required, training will be provided. Previous experience working in manufacturing environment will be a plus.
We are looking for someone to work 1st or 2nd shift.
1st shift - Monday-Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
2nd shift - Monday-Thursday - 2.30pm - 12.00am, Friday - 2.30pm - 6.30pm
There is a shift differential of 10% for 2nd shift

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate a variety of machining operations on standard and specialized machine shop equipment such as lightband lapping, polishing, tool grinding, etc..
- Use a variety of cutting tools including diamond grinding wheels.
- Knowledge of simple algebra and plane geometry.
- Read and understand instructional materials and/or process plans.
- Insure that route sheets, drawings and other specifications are met on the products produced by performing a first piece inspection.
- Troubleshoot moderately complex mechanical devices.
Qualifications
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to read and understand somewhat complicated blueprints and the accumulative effect of tolerances.
- Must be able to set up and operate machinery in the department.
Physical Requirements:
- Must lift up to 35 lbs. infrequently each day.
- Must continuously lift up to 5 lbs.

- Protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) as defined by 22CFR120.15
