We are currently seeking a FIAR Senior Consultant to join our team supporting the Navy International Programs Office (NIPO) in Washington, D.C. This position is hybrid with occasional on-site requirement,
What you’ll do:
Provide Financial Audit Readiness support to facilitate preparation for audit.
Responsibilities:
- Provide stakeholder management in accordance with GAAP, SFFAS and other OMB policies for Federal/State government agencies or larger complex companies
- Assist with PCM edits and updates for the Statement of Budgetary Resources workstream
- Communicates with senior managers to schedule Audit Advisory meetings
- Attend PCM update meetings and finalizes Trip Reports for the Statement of Budgetary Resources workstream
- Serve as POC for the PMO Weekly Activity Report for all workstreams
- Collaborate with consultants and senior managers to finalize meeting minutes for bi-weekly Audit update meetings
- Travel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain and maintain professional certifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or MBC’s clients. These requirements are subject to change without advance notice at the discretion of MBC and MBC’s clients
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an institution accredited in the United States
- Active DOD Secret security clearance
- One or more of the following certifications is required: CPA, CISA, CIA, CGFM, CDFM
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients
Compensation Policy: Salary ranges displayed are typical for this position, but MBC considers multiple factors when extending an offer. Factors include the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's qualifications, and the contractual terms of the program.
