We are currently seeking a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Case Technical Support Specialist to join our team in San Diego, CA. This position is on-site and requires in office attendance 5 days per week in San Diego.
What you’ll do:
The FMS Case Technical Support Specialist will provide FMS technical support services to the FMS Division Director and Case Managers for systems engineering support services that result in successfully delivered TDL capabilities across multiple platforms within individual countries.
Responsibilities:
- Provide integrated logistics planning and management support services that result in fully supportable TDL capabilities across multiple platforms within individual countries
- Provide Link 16 terminal integration, installation and operational support and guidance to assist with the successful completion of FMS customer integration activities and test events, resolution of integration and operational problems
- Deliver systems engineering support services that result in successfully delivered TDL capabilities across multiple platforms within individual countries
- Perform programmatic, technical and financial management of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases containing MIDS equipment and technical services
- Work directly with Case Managers and Case Analysts to answer technical questions related to Foreign Military Sales cases containing MIDS equipment
- Digest key points and craft and deliver documents to C-suite-level and command level staff to support leadership with decision making
- Facilitate discussions with working staff and leadership to identify roadblocks, propose solutions, achieve issue resolution and foster productive discussions
- Travel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain and maintain professional certifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or MBC’s clients. Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an institution accredited in the United States
- Active DOD Secret security clearance
- At least five (5) years’ relevant experience with a minimum of two (2) years supporting a federal government entity
- Prior experience with MIDS-LVT and MIDS JTRS systems and integrating them into us and foreign airborne, maritime, mobile and shore-based platforms required
- Experience with the following is preferred: Link 16, COMSEC articles and cryptographic systems such as SKL PYQ-10, Joint Tactical Information Distribution System (JTIDS), Command and Control Processor (C2P), Common Data Link Management System (CDLMS) MIDS on Ship (MOS, MOS Mod, Data Link Test Tools
- Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients
