Job Title: Family Leadership Training Institute Site Coordinator

Reports to: Education Program Manager
Pay Rate/Range: $21.25-$22.50 per hour
Employment Class: Full-time
Work Days: Monday through Friday with occasional weekend hours
Customary Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with evening hours during FLTI sessions.

Position Summary This program oversees the programs and development of programs that support the Morgan County Family Center. The Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the current Family Leadership Training Institute program.
The program coordinator will be responsible for overseeing program budgets, supporting trained facilitators as it pertains to the program as well as being responsible for any reporting expectations for the program.
Duties & Responsibilities
The FLTI Site Coordinator will need to be available for each session of the FLTI cohort.
The program currently takes place at the United Presbyterian Church on Tuesday evenings from 5 p.m. -9 p.m from Fall to Spring. The Site Coordinator would primarily be responsible for the logistical/operational success of the program.
Duties include the following:
- Spend time in office in preparation of materials and logistics for each FLTI session, facilitator debrief sessions and other community meetings as appropriate.
- Being in communication with FLTI Facilitators and interpreters to ensure they have what they need each session.
- Facilitate weekly debrief sessions with facilitators.
- Order, Set-up, and help serve food at each FLTI session.
- Work with FLTI participants on civic engagement projects.
- Work with the Education Program Manager on adding Breaking Bread for Belonging opportunities for FLTI Cohort.
The FLTI Coordinator is expected to work cooperatively and collaboratively with Morgan County agencies, institutions, and businesses to assess needs of Morgan County families and develop necessary services,programs or other resources that support all families leading to increased civic engagement and supporting family voice.
Additional responsibilities include :
- Evaluating and assessing the program strengths and weaknesses
- Monitoring session effectiveness to ensure that the goals are met
- Working on marketing as appropriate to support the FLTI program.
- Monitor budget based on funding available for the FLTI program
- Provide support and direction to facilitators specific to resources and data
collection needed to support the program.
- Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements Education and Experience:
∙ Experience in community engagement and coordination of services
∙ Required to obtain certifications as necessary for specialization
∙ Must be willing to obtain certifications and attend conferences.
∙ Valid driver license, current auto insurance and reliable transportation is required.
