Leadership & Administration
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance library services and programs.
- Oversee daily library operations, ensuring efficiency and a high level of customer service.
- Maintain and enforce library policies in compliance with state and federal laws.
- Represent the library to local government, community organizations, and stakeholders.
Financial Management
- Develop and manage the library’s annual budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility.
- Seek funding opportunities, including grants, donations, and partnerships.
- Oversee purchasing and financial reporting to the governing board.
Staff & Volunteer Supervision
- Recruit, train, and supervise library staff and volunteers.
- Foster professional development and training opportunities.
- Conduct performance evaluations and ensure adherence to HR policies.
Community Engagement & Outreach
- Promote library services through outreach programs, social media, and public events.
- Collaborate with schools, businesses, and other community organizations.
Collection & Program Development
- Oversee collection development, acquisitions, and technology integration.
