INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT TECHNICIAN
GRADE: A04
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The purpose of this classification is to serve as a member of the Information Technology
department and to support Morgan County’s technology solutions by helping end users
with technology to allow them to better perform their jobs.
REPORTS TO: IT Systems Administrator, Captain of Investigations, Chief, Sheriff
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

- Diagnoses and resolves problems in response to user reported incidents.
- Configures and installs various hardware, software and maintains existing

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED required. Associate degree preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to operate a variety of automated office and
