Ranch Hand/Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Ranch Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a strong understanding of ranch operations. This position involves a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall maintenance and productivity of the ranch, ensuring the well-being of livestock and the upkeep of facilities.

• Duties
• Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and monitoring health.
• Operate heavy equipment and power tools for various ranch tasks.
• Utilize hand tools for repairs and maintenance around the ranch.
• Execute heavy lifting tasks related to feed, supplies, and equipment movement.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Experience

• Previous experience in animal care is required.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation is essential.
• Basic math skills are necessary for measuring feed quantities and managing supplies.
• Experience in gardening or crop growing is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
