Engineering Designer/Detailer

Due to growth, we are looking for a full-time Designer/Detailer to join our team in Alliance, Ohio.
You will design and detail below-the-hook lifting devices for our Heppenstall/Blaw-Knox line of products while ensuring that innovation comes standard with every order.

Responsibilities:
- Design and detail below-the-hook lifting devices according to customer needs and applicable national code specifications
- Perform calculations on mechanical lever systems and lifting devices
- Collaborate with sales and engineering department to produce a final product that meets internal and external standards
Education/Experience:
- Associate’s degree in mechanical design/engineering
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working with below-the-hook lifting devices, overhead cranes, or equivalent
- Ability to perform calculations on mechanical lever systems and lifting devices in general
- Be able to work with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in Autodesk software (Inventor, Vault, AutoCAD, etc.)
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams)
