Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures.
- Perform basic life support and emergency medical procedures as needed.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper equipment availability.
- Document patient histories, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately in electronic health records.
- Support the medical team in care for both acute and chronic illnesses.
- Collaborate with providers and staff to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Engage with all patients, ensuring their specific needs are met with empathy and professionalism.
- Maintain knowledge of physiology to assist in patient assessments and care planning.

Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent training is preferred.
- Experience in an outpatient clinic or urgent care environment is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of basic life support techniques and human anatomy and physiology.
- Familiarity with clinic care practices, immunizations and office procedures.
- Understanding of care principles thoughout the lifespan is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development within the medical field.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
