Job Title : Summer School Bus Driver
Job Description :
We are seeking reliable and safety-focused Bus Drivers to provide transportation for our 2025 summer school program. This in-person position involves split shifts, working 4 days per week from June 16 to July 18, 2025. Shift times are projected to be 6 : 00 AM - 9 : 00 AM and 11 : 00 AM - 2 : 00 PM, with a guaranteed minimum of 5 hours per day, which may increase based on ridership. Bus Drivers will play a critical role in ensuring students travel safely and on time to and from school.
Key Details :
Schedule : 4 days a week for 5 weeks, June 16 - July 17, 2025.
Shifts : Split shifts, Projected shift hours 6 : 00 AM - 9 : 00 AM and 11 : 00 AM - 2 : 00 PM (minimum 5 hours per day, additional hours based on ridership).
Responsibilities :
Safely transport students to and from school in a timely manner.
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the safety and maintenance of the bus.
Follow designated routes and schedules, adapting as necessary to accommodate ridership needs.
Enforce safety rules and maintain order on the bus.
Communicate effectively with transportation staff, school personnel, and families regarding schedules and any issues.
Qualifications :
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger and school bus endorsements.
Prior experience as a bus driver preferred.
Strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and reliability.
Ability to interact professionally with students, families, and staff.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
- High school diploma or equivalent required (candidates without a diploma can apply for our "Work and Learn" program, earning a diploma while working)
