What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Reliability Engineer position at Morgan Human Capital Management?
The Lead Reliability Engineer will lead and optimize mechanical integrity processes for fixed equipment, including pressure vessels, tanks, relief devices, and piping, across multiple US manufacturing sites. This role will coordinate and oversee the execution of these plans, ensuring mechanical integrity and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct thickness inspections and corrosion analyses.
- Develop and optimize inspection plans to improve asset reliability.
- Review inspection results and create short-term repair strategies.
- Perform integrity and engineering assessments such as FFS (Fitness for Service) , rerates , temporary repairs , brittle fracture analysis , flexibility analysis , piping stress analysis , corrosion evaluations , and remaining life studies .
- Evaluate the degradation of pressure equipment (vessels, piping, tanks, relief devices) and develop corrective action plans.
- Coordinate the delivery of work and communication between service providers and business teams.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and safety norms.
- Utilize reliability tools and concepts to assess plant assets, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans to increase reliability while reducing maintenance costs.
