Senior Manager, IT Applications - JD Edwards

Our client is in the middle of a large business transformation journey. They are seeking a passionate, self-driven, hands on JDE expert focusing on the supply chain, sales & distribution, and financial areas.

This role will be responsible for planning, organization, management, design, delivery, maintenance, and support of the JD Edwards applications, and its related systems (DSI, EDI). A strong technical background, problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach are key for success in this role.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead JDE application development, support, and functional work for Supply Chain, Distribution, Finance, and other business units to deliver a best in class customer experience.
• Manage and oversee day to day operations and provide leadership, and direction for the JD Edwards (JDE) platform including development/implementation, training, policies, and deployment support.
• Partner with PMO office to effectively deliver new capabilities in JDE and related applications.
• Lead, manage SLAs, deliverables and scope of work from the third party JDE Managed Services provider and other vendors.
• Define and manage expectations around SLAs with business partners, and handle escalations in a timely manner.
• Proactively define and maintain standards to eliminate technical debt.
• Team leadership, coaching and development of others.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, Engineering, or a related discipline. Advanced degree preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience in JD Edwards (Supply Chain, Distribution, Financials on version 9.2.x or later)
• Proficiency with SQL or equivalent DBMS language is required.
• Techno Functional expertise in the areas of Supply Chain, Distribution, Financials
• Experience with EDI
• Experience with DSI or similar WMS tool
• Experience with AP and/or AR automations is a plus
• Experience with JD Edwards Orchestrator is a plus.
