We're looking for a Recruiter to join our talented team in Overland Park, KS. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to build strong partnerships with local companies and help them find the right talent to grow their teams. You’ll take ownership of your work, bring energy to your outreach, and play a key part in driving our success.
Responsibilities:
- Own the full life cycle of recruiting from sourcing to placement, ensuring a high-quality experience for both clients and candidates throughout each stage.
- Network across the KC business community and beyond to generate leads and referrals by attending industry events, joining professional organizations, and staying active in relevant networking groups.
- Generate new business and client accounts through a variety of channels, including outbound outreach, warm leads, referrals, and follow-up with previous contacts. You'll be expected to contribute meaningfully to overall business development efforts and grow your own book of business over time.
- Partner with clients to understand their hiring needs and craft strategic search plans. This includes leading intake meetings, aligning on expectations, and maintaining consistent communication throughout the recruitment process.
- Guide and negotiate client agreements and fee structures to establish mutually beneficial partnerships rooted in trust and transparency.
- Build and nurture relationships with active and passive candidates, staying engaged beyond a single job search and serving as a long-term career resource. You'll be the point of contact from initial outreach through offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Conduct interviews and evaluate candidates based on experience, professional goals, soft skills, and alignment with client culture.

Requirements:
- 2 years of recruiting experience or a strong track record in a fast-paced, client-facing role
- Passion for networking, relationship-building, and community involvement
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Someone who’s goal-oriented, organized, and thrives working both independently and on a team
- Adaptable in fast-changing environments and skilled at navigating tough or sensitive conversations
- Familiarity with ATS and CRM systems
