What are the responsibilities and job description for the OR RN Pre-Op/PACU - FT days position at Morgan Medical Center?
OR Pre-Op/PACU Full Time
$10,000 Sign-On bonus
Provide planned, skilled nursing care for patients in the critical pre-op and post-op period
Performs thorough pre-op patient assessments and pre-admission testing
Observes patients and administers physician's orders during both pre-op and post-op stages
Performs safe and individualized nursing care for the patient in the immediate post-op/post anesthesia period
Demonstrates the knowledge and skill necessary to provide appropriate care for patients of various age groups
** Requirements **
Current GA RN License BLS & ACLS Certifications
Must be able to think critically, make confident decisions in a fast paced clinical environment and communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team. Knowledge of medications, general health conditions and their impact on the peri-op course and anesthetic conditions. Previous experience in pre-op or critical care area preferred
