Summary
We are looking to hire a full time Fire Investigator who holds a current CFI from the International Associate of Arson Investigators. This role will sit in Orlando and require travel as needed.
Requirements
- Must be a current IAAI- Certified Fire Investigator
- Minimum ten years Fire Investigation experience
- Working knowledge of NFPA 921 & 1033
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience testifying as a court qualified Fire Origin and Cause Expert
- Ability to systematically document a Fire and /or Explosion scene
- Ability to properly secure evidence
- Must be able to generate professional and detailed reports
- Possess a sound understanding of subrogation
- Some Haz-Mat experience, preferred
- A working knowledge of criminal investigations
- A working knowledge of Courts and able to work with litigation teams for case investigation and presentation
- Able to travel regionally and nationally, as needed
