We are seeking a smart, organized and customer-focused individual who will serve as the primary liaison for local and network programming to serve the entertainment and informational needs of our community. What you'll do :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our external network relations teams, distributors, and internal staff
- Acquire compelling content to enhance programming quality and audience engagement
- Execute and maintain all program contracts
- Oversee and manage program scheduling for television broadcasts ensuring seamless coordination and compliance
- Communicate programming changes to pertinent internal and external personnel
- Create weekly and quarterly programming grids
- Provide all required reports with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC)
- Respond to all viewer inquiries
- Resolve issues with programs not listed with carriers
- Keep track of missed or pre-empted programs to reschedule or resolve spots
- Assist customers with traffic or programming questions
- Fill out all required reports to Nielsen
- Log breaking news reported by the network
- Other duties as assigned
