Job Title : Business Development Manager Job Description : The primary focus will be on developing relationships with current and potential customers that result in long-term strategic growth for Morgan Olson through sales objectives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ACTIVITIES :
- Ability to demonstrate to customers how our products are beneficial to their needs.
- Identify opportunities to expand our product offerings to attract new customers.
- Work with customers to help identify ways to improve their fleet through additional products / services.
- Network with key customers to identify and address specific needs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure long-term success.
- Identify and attract prospective strategic customers.
- Stay up to date with external developments and suggest new ways to increase sales.
- Negotiate pricing & contracts.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings, according to company standards.

- 60% travel across US and Canada
- Adheres to Quality policy by exceeding customer expectations, being customer focused and supporting continuous improvement activities.
- Adheres to Safety policies and practices behavioral based safety 100% of the time. QUALIFICATIONS :
- The ideal candidate will have a college degree with a minimum of five years of responsibility in a successful sales and marketing organization within the Truck, or Body Building Industry.
- Be computer literate with significant knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
- The candidate will be highly organized with the ability to perform with minimal direction / supervision.
- Prior experience with commercial vehicle Sales or truck component sales.
- Have strong CRM skills. Previous experience with Salesforce preferred.
- Strong interpersonal leadership and communication skills to facilitate cross-functional dialog at every level of both the Morgan Olson and customer organization.
- Participation in the development of sales strategy, marketing and presentation support material.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Creative, hands-on problem solver that brings new ideas to the table
- Ability to communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical audience
