What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Baker position at Morgan Pearl Cakes?
Responsibilities:
- This role will primarily be recipe production and general kitchen duties
- You will be required to maintain an accurate record of baking operations, supplies, and inventory levels.
- Be proactive to ensure products are up to standards.
- Assess the quality of raw materials before baking.
- Ensure the proper storage of all kitchen goods and utensils
We work as a team at Morgan Pearl Cakes therefore your role in production could vary from day to day. Ideal candidates will have some cooking or baking experience but we provide on the job training!
Please NOTE: This is a production position and in a manufacturing kitchen. This position will not interact with customers
Details:
Training pay is $14 an hour, but will be adjusted after a 6 week trial period based on productivity, skill, and reliability.
Hours: Tuesday through Saturday from 7 am to 4 pm (1 hour lunch) , hours are flexible but days are not.
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old
Reliable transportation
Weekend availability
Physically able to lift 50 lbs
Ability to stand on your feet for 8 hours is required.
